MARCHING ILLINI 2022 TOUR OF IRELAND

The Marching Illini was the first American college marching band to represent the United States in the 1992 St. Patrick’s Day parade in Dublin Ireland. Since then, the band has traveled to Ireland in 1995, 1998, 2004, 2008, 2014, and 2018.

This week we will be making our 8th trip to the Emerald Isle representing the University of Illinois, the State of Illinois, and the United States. In Ireland, performances include a parade in Kilkenny and a standstill performance in front of Kilkenny Castle as well as the Dublin St. Patrick’s Day Festival as part of the St. Patrick’s Festival. Highlights of the trip include visits and tours to the Guinness Factory, city of Dublin, traveling to Belfast to visit the Titanic Museum, Galway to see the Cliffs of Mohr, and much much more.

We are excited to share this 8th tour of Ireland with 400+ students, faculty, staff and Friends and Family as we have the opportunity to visit the beautiful and amazing people of Ireland!
