Though we offer live audition dates for Brass & Woodwinds, we HIGHLY encourage prospective brass & woodwind students to submit a video audition. It is simple, you can submit the “perfect” audition of your best work, and we have record of your audition. All videos are due no later than May 1, when notifications for the Marching Illini are sent. Drumline prospective students must submit their Round 1 audition via video by April 11.
UPDATE: Due to recent developments regarding COVID-19, all upcoming on campus auditions & clinics have been postponed due to University guidelines and protocol.
All auditions that were scheduled to be conducted on campus, will be moved to a video audition format. All information regarding how to submit a video audition is listed under AUDITION INFORMATION. To submit a video, you can upload or copy a link to your video on the APPLY NOW registration form.
