wil pritchard - Marching Illini

videographer & social media manager

Wil Pritchard has served as the videographer and social media manager for the Marching Illini since 2021. In this role, he records and edits Marching Illini performance videos, and additionally creates graphics and posts for the Marching Illini social channels.

Born and raised in Champaign-Urbana, Wil has been an Illini his entire life. He graduated from the University of Illinois with his Bachelor of Music Education in 2017, and was a member of the Marching Illini trumpet section from 2013-2015. During his senior year in 2016, he served as a student photographer and social media manager for the band.

In addition to his work with the Marching Illini, Wil also works full time as the band director for the Cerro Gordo School District, where he has taught students grades five through twelve since 2017.
